A LOOK AT THE POETRY OF CESAR RODRIGUEZ PIZARRO


• Peruvian Literature House pays tribute to the work of this outstanding Arequipa writer.

Continuing the work of decentralizing the literature and make known the work of Peruvian authors of all time and regions, the Peruvian Literature House has organized the exhibition "Homage to César Rodríguez Atahualpa" , shows that reassess the figure of this famous poet and writer of the White City.

The exhibition opens on Friday March 4 at 7 pm, in Rooms 15 and 16 of the CASLIT (Jr. Ancash 207, Lima). And be open to the public Tuesday through Sunday from 9:30 a.m. to 7:30 pm through June. Admission is free.

The opening ceremony will be chaired by Dr. Alan Garcia Perez, President and Dr. Karen Calderon Montoya, director of the CASLIT. Also present as special guests: the daughter (Bertha Rodriguez Emanuel) and granddaughter (Helena Rodriguez Emanuel) of the writer, who will give testimony about the author honored. Likewise, the documentary "Cesar A. Rodríguez. The poet of transcendence ", which is part of the series' illustrious Arequipa II", by Cervesur, and directed and conducted by Antonio Ugarte and Chocano.

In this sample we see a timeline that presents the most relevant of the author's life. In addition to photographs of the writer and caricatures of his person, are the covers of magazines "The Coven", he wrote, and the covers of his books The last lines Hundred Poems, Sonatas in a tone of silence God does not want, etc.. The Peruvian Literature House is developing as a tribute to the centenary of the birth of José María Arguedas (1911-1969) a series of activities such as exhibition of his works, held in January where was shown to the public the first editions of books like flint Diamonds (1954), Deep Rivers (1958), blood All (1964) and above The fox and the fox below ( 1971), and began the Annual Symposium José María Arguedas conferences with Carmen Maria Cecilia Rivera Pinilla and therefore during all months of 2011 will be held this cycle of conversations where you invite a specialist in his writing.

For the month of February continues Annual Symposium José María Arguedas and have been invited to one of the leading specialists in the work Arguedas, Larrue Manuel Salazar, who will present a lecture on Tuesday, 22 at 6:30 pm in the auditorium of the CASLIT. His lecture will talk about the poetry of Arguedas.
